Elijah, a Year 6 pupil at Friezland School who is joining the world famous Chethams School of Music in September, will entertain the audience with two classical piano pieces - Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Chopin's Mazurka in G minor.
The festival at Well-i-Hole farm in Greenfield is organised by Oldham Metro and Saddleworth Rotary Clubs, with all funds raised donated to local charities and good causes.
The organisers said: “It is important to remember part of the ethos of Wellifest is not only to provide a showcase for local musical talent, but to use the medium of music to develop the personal confidence and social capability of young people.
“Normally we would have been holding auditions for aspiring musicians and performers from local schools.
"Those winners would be performing at Wellifest, with the runners-up performing at Saddleworth Show.
“However, this year the covid pandemic has prevented that.
"This is why we are so pleased we have been able to provide an opportunity for Elijah to demonstrate his remarkable musical talent in front of our sell-out crowd on Saturday.”
