The academy has seen some superb improvements from 2019 and this is a real testament to the resilience and hard work shown by both students and the continued support from dedicated staff.

E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy has been particularly impressed with the results seen in Maths, Music, Health and Social Care, Childcare, Art, Photography, Dance, History, Spanish and PE.

All subjects have performed particularly well and the number of top grades has significantly increased.

The academy has worked extremely hard post-pandemic to ensure that no child is left behind and that the mental health, wellbeing and academic achievement has been the number one priority.

Andrea Atkinson, Headteacher at E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy, said: "I am so incredibly proud to be the headteacher at E-ACT Royton and Crompton Academy and am delighted to share and be part of the success of our students and their GCSEs.

"It is a testament to the hard work of our students and academy staff that so many have achieved such brilliant results.

"The entire academy is brimming with pride today as we celebrate together."
