St Anne's under-8s rugby team have been honoured after completing an unbeaten run this season.

A special presentation event took place at St Anne's Rugby Club in Higginshaw to recognise the success of the players and coaches.

St Anne’s under-8s rugby team - The Invincibles - played 20 games this season winning 19 and drawing just 1, meaning they were undefeated all season.

The team should have played 24 games in total, though 2 games were cancelled due to the Covid pandemic, and the final game was cancelled as the opposition were short of players so they forfeit the game

The under 7s were also celebrated on the presentation night - and also undefeated this season
