Collymore (26) took on tough-as-teak Croatian Frane Radnic is his latest fight, eventually stopping his opponent in devastating style.
Collymore took to the ring once again on the latest Blackflash Promotions show, put on by his manager and now trainer, ex-European champion Pat Barrett.
Collymore took control from the first bell, putting his opponent under pressure with his jab.
He looked cool and in control and even though he had only been with Barrett as his trainer for three weeks, his influence was evident.
After a minute and half of the third round, Collymore had his opponent on the canvas with a left hook to the body.
His opponent begrudgingly got to his feet to beat the count from the referee.
The Oldham man continued to pile on the pressure and had Radnic on the canvas yet again towards the end of the round following another brutal attack.
The referee waved the fight off as it was obvious Radnic could not continue.
This was Collymore’s first stoppage as a professional.
His next fight will be on Saturday, September 2, once again at the home of Manchester small hall boxing, Bowlers.
