The awards, organised by Mahdlo Youth Zone, are now in their second year.
The Shine Awards celebrate the achievements, contributions and positive impact of young people across Oldham.
Members of the public can nominate young people in four categories. These are Rising Star, Youth Voice, Community Champion and Inspirational Young Person of the Year.
Awards will be presented in both junior and senior age groups. The junior category is open to children aged between eight and 13, while the senior category is for young people aged 14 to 19, or up to the age of 25 for young people with a disability.
Parents, carers, teachers, friends, neighbours and community organisations are all invited to submit nominations.
Lucy Lees, chief executive of Mahdlo Youth Zone, said, "Young people across Oldham are achieving brilliant things every day, many of which go unnoticed.
"From showing kindness and supporting others to overcoming challenges and demonstrating real leadership, creativity and resilience, young people are making a positive impact in so many ways.
"Mahdlo Youth Zone is proud to once again host this year's Shine Awards and bring the community together to celebrate young people across the borough.
"We would encourage people across Oldham to take the time to nominate a young person and shine a light on their achievements."
Nominations close at midnight on Tuesday 28 July.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at Mahdlo Youth Zone in early November 2026.
Mahdlo Youth Zone is a registered charity based in Oldham which provides activities and opportunities for young people aged eight to 19, or up to the age of 25 for those with a disability.
