Eleven drug possession offences were also dealt with by community resolution.
Thousands of people attended Manchester Pride over the bank holiday weekend, with dozens of police officers deployed across the city centre.
Greater Manchester Police said patrols took place during the day, with an increased presence in the Village during the evenings.
Specialist resources included GMP's drone unit and two passive people screening dogs from Kent Police, Max and Doodle, which are trained to detect drugs including substances commonly used in spiking offences.
Police said the dogs and their handlers were involved in 15 positive finds for drugs during the weekend.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs after police said he was found with a large bottle believed to contain GHB or GBL, Viagra and lubricant.
He has been bailed while further enquiries are carried out.
GMP said the combination of substances caused concern in relation to spiking and harms associated with chemsex.
A total of 17 arrests were made in connection with the Pride operation, while 11 drug possession offences were dealt with by community resolution.
Police also covered Wythenshawe Live and Manchester United's first home game of the season at Old Trafford during the weekend.
Across Greater Manchester, officers made 582 arrests between Friday morning and Monday morning for alleged offences including murder, drink-driving, burglary and domestic abuse.
GMP received 8,497 contacts through 999 and 101 on Saturday and Sunday. The force said 999 calls had an average answer time of two seconds.
Assistant Chief Constable Matt Boyle said: “I’m really pleased with how this weekend’s operation has gone with a number of large events happening in the city without major incident.
“We have worked with event organisers, local partners and the LGBTQ+ communities to help ensure this year’s Pride event is the safest it can be.
“This has included the deployment of dedicated specialist dogs to help in our work to protect people from coming to harm from spiking and chemsex related harms, we have intervened and taken positive action.
“Our officers have been patrolling numerous events this weekend across the city region while also responding to the usual busy demand that comes with an August bank holiday. Their commitment to serving the whole of Greater Manchester on a daily basis in unwavering, and I thank them for their hard work.”
