Seven dogs and five suspected offensive weapons were also seized during the operation on Monday 7 September.
Officers from Rochdale Neighbourhood Policing Team executed the warrant at around 9am as part of an investigation into stolen farm and building machinery.
They were supported by police Dog Liaison Officers, the National Construction and Agricultural Theft Team and drone units.
Police said the machinery recovered included a tractor, an agricultural trailer and other farming equipment.
Five suspected offensive weapons, including a machete, were also seized.
A 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, possessing an offensive weapon in a private dwelling and breaching a court order which prohibited him from keeping dogs.
Seven dogs were removed from the property. Greater Manchester Police said officers had identified welfare concerns relating to some of the animals and all seven were being cared for while enquiries continued.
The operation took place during National Rural Crime Week.
Inspector Clem Jones, from Rochdale Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Today's warrant serves as a reminder that rural crime will not be tolerated. It is an often-overlooked issue that can have a significant impact on communities and the livelihoods of those who live and work in the countryside.
“During National Rural Crime Week, it is particularly important to highlight the devastating effect offences such as machinery theft can have on farmers, landowners and rural businesses. Preventing and detecting these crimes remains a priority for Greater Manchester Police and our partners.
“Officers and partner agencies are responding to concerns raised by the local community and taking action where evidence and intelligence support police intervention.
“We know there is significant public interest in activity at this location and today's warrant demonstrates our commitment to tackling criminality and protecting the wider community.
“As a result of today's operation, we have recovered around £30,000 worth of suspected stolen machinery, arrested a man on suspicion of a number of offences, and seized seven dogs from an individual who is prohibited from keeping them. Officers also identified welfare concerns relating to some of the dogs, and all seven animals are now being appropriately cared for while enquiries continue.”
Police said enquiries remain ongoing.
